Meet Our Summer Camp Director
Edmira Vasili
Miss Edmira is a passionate, driven, and hardworking individual. She has experience working with kids for over 6 years. She has worked in multiple Roles before acquiring her position as Summer Camp Director at Tommy Summer Camp.

Edmira has a Bachelor and Master degree in Pharmacy, which she graduated in her country, Albania.
She also has certificates and many trainings in childhood education.
In 2023 she is certified by American Camp Association ACA as "Summer Camp Director"

Edmira has a creative mind that brings any topic or activity to life. Her leadership skills are strong and focused. She provides a generally high level of energy and encourages staff to do the same. She is an outdoor enthusiast and very passionate about her love of children and the outdoors.

Edmira believes recreational camp activities are incredibly important for every child to experience, as they give children a sense of confidence and opportunities to grow and learn new thinks throw play and have fun. Edmira uses her knowledge and experience in programing to help our camp have the ultimate camp experience.

Tommy Summer Camp hires intentionally from the communities we serve so that Counselors understand the unique need of every Camper. Some of our counselors are also year round youth workers, through our Tommy Summer Camp programs and have extensive training and experience in youth Development. We’re also thrilled to welcome back many former campers who came back to serve as Counselor and activity instructors each year!
